Step 1: Identify Your Wheel's Bolt Pattern
The bolt pattern (PCD) is the most important number when buying a replacement alloy wheel. It's the number of bolts and the diameter of the circle they sit on. Common patterns include:
- 5x112 — Audi, VW Golf Mk5 onwards, Mercedes-Benz, newer BMW 3/5 Series
- 5x108 — Ford Focus and Mondeo, Jaguar, Volvo, Range Rover Evoque
- 5x120 — BMW 1/3/5/X Series (older), Range Rover Vogue and Sport
- 5x130 — Porsche 911, Cayenne (to 2017)
- 5x100 — VW Golf Mk4, older Audi A3, Subaru
- 4x100 — Vauxhall Corsa, Renault Clio, MINI R56
Your bolt pattern is printed on your current wheel, shown in your vehicle handbook, or can be found using our fitment finder on our homepage.
Step 2: Match the Size Exactly
Your replacement wheel must match the existing wheels exactly — same diameter, same width. Mixing sizes means different tyre heights, which throws off your speedometer, affects traction control, and looks wrong. Check the sidewall of your current tyres for the size (e.g. 225/40 R18 tells you the wheel is 18 inches).
Step 3: Match the Offset (ET)
Offset is the distance from the wheel's mounting face to its centreline. If you fit a wheel with the wrong offset, it will either sit too far inward (rubbing on suspension) or stick out past the arch. Your current wheel will have the ET stamped on the back. If you can't find it, contact us with your vehicle details and we'll confirm the correct offset.
Step 4: Match the Finish
This is where the visual match matters. Gloss black, satin black, black machined face, gunmetal, silver — we carry single wheels in all the finishes in our range. Yes. Our most common single wheel requests are for 5x112 fitment — Audi, VW and Mercedes are by far the most popular cars for a single replacement. Because these platforms share a 57.1mm or 66.6mm centre bore and 5x112 bolt pattern, we carry a huge selection of matching designs.

How Much Does a Single Replacement Alloy Wheel Cost?
Single replacement wheels are priced at around 1.5x the per-wheel price of a full set — this reflects the additional packaging, handling and administration for a single unit order. It is always more economical to buy in sets of four, but when you need one wheel urgently, we make it as affordable as possible.
